    Members of the Board of Utah State Parks and Recreation are appointed by the governor for their knowledge, interest, and experience in outdoor recreation, and make regulations governing the use of the state park system. This nine-member board represents each of the state's eight judicial districts and one at-large member. Our dedicated board members meet quarterly and as needed, in different regions of the state.
