WASATCH MOUNTAIN STATE PARK

Dear Educator,
Wasatch Mountain State Park would like to invite you and your students to experience the resources found within one of your state parks. We know your time is limited, and the amount of material to cover is immense. We hope you will consider risking some of your classroom time to bring your students out for a hands-on curriculum based field trip.

Natural and Historic Tours of the Huber Grove [Social Studies Standard I: Objective 2 and Standard IV: Objective 2]
4th Grade
The Incredible Water Cycle [Science Standard I: Objectives 1 and 2]
Discovering Rocks and Minerals [Science Standard III: Objective 1]
Animal Adaptations to Utah's Environments [Science Standard V: Objectives 2 and 4]
Classification Tools [Science Standard V: Objective 3]

5th Grade

Winter Programs, including snowshoeing, are also available. Maximum 30 students in winter.
